I'm Pippa, an integrative counsellor specialising in various areas, including bereavement and loss, anxiety, depression, relationships, coping with change and uncertainty, and self-esteem and self-worth issues.

Embarking on a journey to seek help from a counsellor can be overwhelming. However, I can assure you that I am here to guide you through this process with respect, empathy, and trust, ensuring you feel in control of the process.

Your counselling sessions
In our counselling sessions, we will focus on what matters most to you. Whether you're experiencing a range of emotions due to recent events or past experiences or struggling to cope with a life-changing situation affecting you or a loved one, we will address those emotions together and provide you with the insight to help move forward.

Adapting to Your Needs
As an integrative counsellor, I am flexible in my approach, tailoring our sessions to suit your unique needs. My goal is to help you gain clarity and stability during challenging times. I offer a safe and non-judgmental space where we can explore and navigate your emotional challenges and feelings. You can choose between face-to-face sessions or online counselling – whichever setting you feel most comfortable with.

What to expect

Taking the first steps can be difficult, but an initial consultation can help you address any concerns you may have.

Before commencing therapy I offer a free 20-minute consultation, to help you decide whether I am the right therapist for you.

Fees

I am able to offer therapy via Skype, Zoom, Teams or telephone if you are unable to attend in person.

My fee for a therapeutic session of 50 minutes is £65 in person and online.

Payment is required 24 hours prior to our session and all sessions cancelled within a 24 hour period are non-refundable.

Confidential

All enquiries are strictly confidential and you do not need a GP referral to make an appointment.

Ways in which I work

I work mainly as a Person-centred therapist but will pull on a variety of beneficial approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic and Humanistic Theories, which include Gestalt and Transactional Analysis, to ensure the best possible outcome.

I can work with a Psychosynthesis approach which focuses on personal growth and development, looking at the soul and spirit along with the physical and emotional.

Qualifications

Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling Practice (Prof.Dip Psy C.)
Certificate in Hypnotherapy and Counselling Skills (Cert.Hyp.CS)

As part of my commitment I have ongoing clinical supervision and regularly attend continued professional development to enhance my therapeutic practice.
